Humanistic Integrative Counselling
The Humanistic Integrative approach to counselling is exactly what it sounds like - whilst the training has a focus on the humanistic approaches, it also encompasses all other approaches. So, what does that mean to you? It means that you are the focus of the counselling sessions; the plan you will create with your practitioner will be based around you, and will utilise the best approach and methods for you and your situation.
Counselling Paths
There are 3 basic formats for a counselling path, explained below. If you wish to add additional services to your path, you can do so at a discounted rate if you book them together.

Pyramid
This path is entirely led by you. Each session, we discuss what you want to discuss in that moment; perhaps you need to brainstorm, vent, or just be heard... this is counselling in it's purest form.

Star
This path requires a little guidance from you. You can decide what issues, situations, or feelings you want to focus on along the path; each week is dedicated to a subject of your choosing.

Rainbow
This is a goal-oriented path, especially good for those who like to do a little lifework in between sessions. You provide up to 3 goals (depending on the length of your path), and design a specific route to get there.
Humanistic Integrative Counselling is client-led and holistic, focusing on self-development and realising one's full potential.
Many people hear counselling and immediately think of people crying or over-analysing your childhood, but counselling is so much more than that. Tears are the body's way of physically releasing emotions; we cry when we're sad, happy, angry, and nearly every emotion in between.
Having a sacred, safe space in which you can observe things objectively requires honesty with your self and dedication to growth; by releasing that which you no longer need, whether its released through tears or another means, you free yourself to rise.
